As opposed to driving course, in pilots course you fly alone in the airplane, even before you have a pilot license. This is called a Solo Flight. The first solo flight is considered as one of the most significant milestone in any aviation career, and it is one of the most exciting flights a pilot experiences during the entire life. The first solo flight cannot be forgotten even after decades.
After gaining a basic proficiency in flying, including basic emergency handling, you will feel and I will decide that the time has come to take-off, perform a full circuit pattern and land, on your own, in high proficiency and safety level. Then I'll simply leave the airplane and you will contact the control tower, get permission to take-off from the control tower of Herzliya Airport, and perform a full take-off and landing where only you in the airplane.
